David, isn't sayin that about a 330i a little harsh? at the end os the day they are good cars, some people just cant afford an M3, like those of us that can't afford a VTS. My mate has a 330 and it's still fukn quik. better value for money really

Probably a touch harsh. I still don't see the point in buying one really. 330d is as fast and more ecconomical. If you are going for a hard arsed 3 series get one with an M badge

The problem with BMW's is you have to have the latest and greatest otherwise you look like a wannabee.
People in M reg 316's are a prime example of this.

The M5 is a ring Taxi. New one is an E60 IIRC, 2004 previous were E39s, which you can buy for under 10k now. Not ex ring taxi ones though, they've all been crushed
