I have a Kent pt40 cam on the way for it, and am going to have it skimmed and pressure tested. Also going to recut the valve seats and fit new stem seals.
Also considering new valve springs and a vernier pulley, not sure if the valve springs will be needed though.

What paint did you use when u sprayed ur rocker cover?

Thanks for the comments guys.
I used High temperature engine paint to do the rocker cover, i used normal paint before and it bubbled with the heat.
And i didnt need to move the PAS reservior, it wasnt in the way on mine so im not sure what you would do about that.

Got the car on the rollers today at Clifford Cox in Reading.
I just had the cam timing adjusted and the car made 119.5 bhp and 112.1 lbft at the flywheel with 1 degree of advance.
Im very pleased with the result as the car is unmapped at the moment. It feels much better to drive now, deffinately pulls harder. Here is the printout- sorry my scanner isnt great!

Yeah i think its just normal, it always ran cooler than it does now but its never overheated so i dont think there is anything wrong. Just different thermostats probably.
And the cold starting problem seems to of fixed itself too. Its not done it for about 2 weeks now lol
