Aside from adoring the look of a mk 1, this is one of my inspirations for converting mine to mk1 later in the year

well, i hit a spot of bother last month. I realised i had snapped a coilover spring somehow?! which is a bit odd, even the folks at faulkner were surprised as theyre really good quality springs, which means they may have been going coil bound which caused them to break eventually. Cant believe i managed to drive to wales and back unknowwingly aswell lol
so, about £130 later and a nice 3 week wait for some custom ones to be made up again
And another pic i found from the summer... Mk1 Vs Mk2

yeah they were mate! i had them on about a year, how long did you have them on?
Did you order them direct from faulkner for yourself? becuase they said only 2 other people have ordered them springs before, llardy of here (used to have a white mk2 on schmidts) and someone from some race company (which i guessed was you?)
the guys at faulkner say it never happens so it must have just been going coil bound for being too low i guess lol not quite sure why else they'd snap

Yeah i ordered them through work in 2010 i think. I only ran them for about 500 miles i think may have been less.
