i very very very nearly put one of these lumps in the back end of a mk1 xr2, then last minute came across a exceptional xflow so didnt. shame really, though im still only young!
this looks very impressive! i hope it all works out, the detail will make or break it! so far its going great though.

Before you finish it I'd rip that engine out, throw away that Volvo subframe and front end setup and make your own if you ever want it to handle mildly well.
Looks good though.

Massive credit to you for the work and thought that is going into this!
As said though, unless you are essentially going to rebuild the entire monocoque I can't see how it will pas an IVA
Not going to stop me loving it though!

I'd say if it doesn't pass an IVA, jst keep it as a "show" car to show off to people and show what can be done by a group of lads and a bucket full of enthusiasm!
Shame the powers that be don't like people doing this sort of thing. I can see why the rules were brought in to stop dangerous cars from getting through loopholes in the laws etc but other than that main hoop which I personally would prefer to see as a one piece tube, I don't see why this shouldn't be allowed to at least pass an MOT and be used for racing!
