Furio VTS Conversion
So my first car was a little 1.1 Saxo which later got swapped to a 1.4. That then blew up so i got myself a MK2 Golf GTi 16v. It was an awesome car but i just wasnt having as much fun in the Golf. It also developed a few problems so i cut my losses and sold it on. My good friend Ali has just done a furio VTS conversion so i will be buying that off of him. Cant wait to get back out in a Saxo again!

Hahah yeah it was great pulling up to the lights in a standard looking Furio and then destroying like 2 litre BM's. Wheels should be getting delivered today. Leather bucket seats have just been put in the front. Want to put gti leathers in the back. It was fun being a sleeper but i want to make it look good now. Pics soon

OK so the wheels came with a couple of 26mm spacers, the back wheels still rub on the axle bit so i need even bigger ones? The fronts didnt come with spacers but i imagine i still need some? They are ET47. Can anyone help? Will i need spacers for the front too?

ahh, still learning myself! I did contemplate the idea of converting to VT arches but realised it's all clips and there's no going back after there's tigerseal all over the paintwork =/
I will be watching the thread for them wheel pics

Soooo been a while, done a few things to the car, excuse the shitty phone pics, still havnt got around to getting spacer so its just on my old vtr wheels at the moment
Cleaned up the engine bay, looking good, need a new strut brace though and some polished cam covers!
Alos got the CDA, excuse the bodge job fitting but it was just a mock up for the photo haha
Got my old tinted lights and blue chevrons back on. Also got some VTS door badges
Got hold of some nice Leather bucket seat, sorry for awful quality. Picking up some GTi leathers for the back tomorrow
Oh yeah and the Brembo disks. Can also see the powder coated ARB
Progress is slow as money is tight at the moment, more to come though! Need it lowered

Updates sound good.
Try one of the other photo uploaders as photobucket is often up the creek.
New rear leathers should look good .
