looking forward to an install you have done with 18's!!! what brand are you thinking and how many?
Thought about trying Kicker Solobarics? maybe see if you can fit in 6 x 15" square subs? or they do 18's too iirc

well ive started getting ready for modified nationals have made all wired going to the batteries equal and all the wires between the batterys and fuse under 40cm there the things that lost me ten points last time i competed in EMMA.
have also braided more of the wiring to tidy things up and painted more of the engine bay.

subs are still for sale

Well had an awsome weekend at mod nats scores where all down tested with matty on the tuesday and was doing 152.5 then tested on sunday and could only pull out a 151.3 tested again an hour later could only just brake 150 .

Didnt seem to have much good luck over the weekend managed to forget to bring and warm tops only had t shirts, i also forgot my show plates and a trim pannel for the boot so lost a point on emma for that, woke up saturday with no voice then couldnt boom with engine on as alt belt was slipping i then addjusted it and broke my alt bracket so had to remake one saturday night thanks to the lads for lending me some tools to make it. i then found the straps holding my front d3100 in had both snapped luckly i had a spare, got put in the wrong class for bassrace then i had to try do a 149.9 with no alt as my belt tryed setting its self on fire  then to top the weekend off my brother decided to leave the show without telling me and drove back to devon with my front number plate and some of my fual money lol.

Good things about the weekend was seeing all the db drag crew. having beers, lots of booming on saturday, being sat inside of a 6th order box trying to get sam over the 150, db drag cake, more beer, 2nd place in EMMA, 2nd place in propper droppers, 3rd place in bassrace, 46 mpg

next step for the saxo is the tunnel has been striped out and should be getting my new subs today will try get pictures up later

well big update of the work thats been done over the last two weeks 1st thing was finaly getting my boot looking tidy still got to buy the speakers and get a tv or 7th amp to fill the boot lid space but then the boot is finished untill i get my new amps

also got some bracing inside the box done

box is now solid

Well had my 1st show since ive got the 18s in the organisers didnt like it and after a 5 minites of demoing at 9:10 they ran over and threatened to kick me out of the show because all the traders complained because i was shaking stuff off their tables after about 3 hours of having no booming and getting my termlab i thought i could get away with some cheeky testing with the door shut (dB drag styl) got away with three burps then thought id go for a 33hz window down burp (propper droppers styl) after one 2 second burp i didnt get away with it as some stupid car alarm went off lol the organiser ran over and went crazy and again threatened to kick me out and the whole club i was with (30 show cars) if i did it again the club owner wasnt having that and kicked off and got me a window to play ever half hour

1st test was a dB drag test this was done with engine off and only had 3 burps to find my peak did a 151.2dB thats 3dB up from the tunnels last testing

2nd test was once my booming ban had been lifted so engine on but batteries still very flat

20hz 146.4
25hz 153
33hz 154
40hz 149.2
PEAK 154.3 @ 31hz
average 151.4

retested on the tuesday when the batteries where a little better also had a little tweek and made some port blockers (to tune the box lower)

without blockers 31hz tunning
20hz 147.7
25hz 153.5
33hz 154.4
40hz 152.5
peak 154.4 @ 33hz
152.5 average

with blockers 27hz blockers
20hz 149.8
25hz 153.5
33hz 154
40hz 151.9
peak 154 @ 33hz
152.6 average

got lots more tweeking todo but my aims at the moment are 155dB peak, 150dB at 20hz, and to keep my title as loudest wall under 6,000rms in the uk

pictures from the weekend
