That's a good idea with the sunroof, something I could maybe do myself to save a few more kilos but tbh I'd probably fuck it up
What date is the track day you're going to?

Okay I got the sunroof semi in on Friday, I don't think I'll wrap it as it'll look poo, I've bolted it in with 5 stainless nuts and bolts at the moment, 1 in each corner and one at the front.
The glass mustn't have been totally flat on the front edge, so there's more of a gap than I'd really like, but the bolts pull it down on the rubber seal very well, plan is 3 more up each side, 4 more along the back edge, possibly 4 or 2 along the front edge, then fill any gap between the polycarb and the plastic outer frame with black sealant, what could possibly go wrong?!?!?

From my own personal experience yesterday, probably because it's the most rigid part of the roof assembly.

Basically because if I chop the under metal tray gubbins out I'd have to fit a roof brace, and I really can't be bothered!
And doing it this way I saved about 6 kilos, and even useless me has been able to do it

For fear of cocking it up I've just left mine, there's easier KG's to remove
