Well, that's if I can find £100 down the back of the sofa!
The small print says I need all the money in cash as they don't take cards!
Bank balance will allow me to get the money for the rest of the cost of hire but not the deposit!
Properly fucked off today!
I just want to ring and cancel it as everything is starting to go tits up!
Need some good luck and some motivation!

Keep at it mate, remember how good it was at start of the year?
Tomorrow we'll be sat in a pub having a beer, day after tomorrow we'll be throwing our saxos around anglesey.
I've done nothing for the last two days, you're much more a head than me.
lol
What licence have you got then? Can you drive lorries?

Got one of the "old" licences mate
These ones can be driven on any licence though as their limited to a load of 1.5T.
Got the buggers sorted now so I just need to go pick it up
Just hope the electricity stay in the car long enough to get a few laps done at a time
I'm bloody freezing and not in the mood to do any more so I'll bleed the brakes tomorrow!

Transporter is here... Only a 4 hour round trip to Bradfordistan to get it! knackered now!
Time for a beer and some DVDs.
Tomorrow, I will arise with renewed vigour and bleed the brakes! Then it's pack up, load up and nip out for a test drive.

It looks like a lawn in the back that's all
Must be at least a kilo of vegetation and dust in it. it's all weight!! hehehe
Just got to adjust the brake balance bar, put it on the van then fill it up with fuel
You'd think I'd be happy... Now I'm just worrying about what I've forgot to tighten up or bolt back on or will the engine last!!!!!
The worrying never ends... Until about dinner time tomorrow I hope.
Get a few laps in slowly to get used to it, Give it some beans before dinner then if it does blow up, I can have some lunch and head home.
Ever the optimist me

Got a few videos today. I need to edit them and i'll put them up tomorrow.
The day was a long one but well worth it!!!
Started off in the pissing rain at the Travelodge in Bangor. Got the van warmed up and headed off, leaving Paul still snoozing! lol
Half an hour later I got to the track and unloaded the car, Got signed on and got a brew.
We had the breifing and headed out to do the sighting laps. It was so wet the car in front of me kept going round corners sideways!
We all came in after the sighters and the rain stopped! then the fun began!
The car was a fair bit quicker than the VTR and thanks to the Bilies a damn sight better in the corners!
I REALLY enjoyed myself today and today was the end of the challenge to build a track car in a month and for £1k. I will add up all the bills tomorrow and see if I made the target! as far as building a track car... I deffo made that! not only that BUT I have made a car with Bilstein suspension, a carbonfibre bucket seat, momo team 280 steering wheel, supersprint centresection, piper backbox, BMC air filter and OMP strut braces. Not a bad spec considering the budget for the mods was only £600!
Mission accomplished I think?
Pics and vids to come tomorrow.

Yes mate, that tracks a good workout for the suspension and load bearing parts hence the failed wheel bearing after lunch. I was hoping it would have done a few laps then something break on it but it managed to get thrashed all morning and only a bearing went ... i was truly impressed.
As I said, the feel and sound of the car on the track today is so good and is really addictive! I NEED to get another day booked asap!
