What does the omex exactly do? Doesnt it raise the rev limiter? would it damage the engine?

basically with the standard rev limiter it cuts out the fuel supply where as with the omex limiter it cuts out the spark so fuel is stll injected and when the plugs ignite you'll have mahhooosive pops and bangs! just seeing a golf with an omex limiter at fueled society with bangs and pops loud enough to set car alarms off a couple of hundred meters away made me reaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly want one!

first injury to the car being my exhaust falling off tonight on a main road , heart sank with sparks flying round everywhere  managed to pull over and see that it was only that the exhaust had fallen off its hangers could of bin worse so its all gooooooood!
