Good music systems?

Am moving out to London in like 3 days, and due to selling my car have no means of listening to music in my own time!

Am looking for a music system that plays off a desktop or laptop at a good quality for £200 or less! Obviously I'm wanting crystal clear but I
Doubt £200 will get that - also wanting a system with clear bass, not one that has a high RMS peak, but rather has a consistent level picking up on all levels of bass.

Any help appreciated!
