Alex's Black C2 GT - Clean and ASW page 3!
Update page two
Bought this car about 3 weeks ago and has been ups and downs already!! Car was listed at £3000 but passenger door was damaged so got £500 off asking price.
Pics of said damage;
Got this repaired two weeks ago but..... another downer as at a party some 'mates' decided it would be a good joke to key scratch my car - yes i did say as a 'joke'
So a £400 new door and arch are now going to cost an extra £200 to get rid of scratches :/ am seeing police today as 'mates' arent paying for damage so trying to make sure they will do!!!
On a brighter note - have just ordered some pressed plates from eBay and a turqouise'y blue TRS tow strap.
Future Plans;
Machine Polish DONE
Fit pressed plates once personal plate is switched over. DONE
Fit Tow Strap DONE
Cituning Xtra Low Springs -60mm (when money allows)
Maybe 2.5 inch Ashley Exhaust
Any comments welcome

Yeah I heard about the tiptronic
That's why I went for the GT, they are ace cars. Couldn't fault mine so far except for the damage to the door! Have had a look around on C2club for basic mods but haven't really seen much :/ only really seen breathing mods and cams! Got plenty of time to improve it tho!!

plenty to do on them mod-wise, just had to get ours rebuilt as it was bought as a write-off then had the hassle with gearbox, hopefully all sorted now. Plans for us are to lower it,get a decent exhaust on it( pea shooter looks daft lol) and some interior mods. If manual conversion had been a failure it was going to get put back as a long term project and put a V6 Pug engine in.

The v6 engine seems to be getting more and more common now so may consider it in a few years, will be a long time til then tho!! I've seen a supersprint exhaust for sale but it's 4inches, not sure if I'd want it that big!

well unless you do some serious engine mount modifications the biggest engine you can have it a 1.6 16v... i have a C2 VTS engine in my Rallye with 106 gti cams.. its like 140 bhp.. tbh you dont need to much more power... Turbo yours?

I have no idea why you presume it ain't 16valve mate. Search the spec of 'Citroen C2 GT' in google and look on every single link.
They all say 16valve, as do citroën? Homo.

The GT's and VTR's are both 16 valves they use the same TU5 JP4 engine as the VTS just with different cams and inlet manifolds.
GT,VTR produce 110BHP and VTS produce 125BHP due to different cams and inlet manifolds.
There are quite a few little mods to do to the C2's mate just most people go for the subtle/OEM+ look.
