I'll post any odd snaps I take in this thread, crits would be really appreciated as i'm wanting to get better at this photography lark.

I realise the one of my sister is over exposed, but i kinda liked the way it turned out... What ya think?

I'm using a Fujifilm S5700 - only £100 from Asda and so far it's been awesome.

For my first I didn't want to go all the way with an expensive DSLR and find I sucked, so thought I'd test the water with this "bridge" camera, and it's perfect (so far) for what I want. No doubt later I'll want to upgrade, but 100 quid for a built in 10x optical zoom and the amazing quality pictures it creates, I can't complain.

It's also rated #1 out of the 136 Fujifilm cameras on Flickr, have a look at some more taken with the same camera here:

Here's an unedited photo I took today (without a tripod) of the clouded sunset seen from the top of my street, looking over Emley Moor mast.

EDIT:

Here's one I took which with a little less exposure, can't decide which I prefer... Think this one may be TOO under exposed, but I really like the deep oranges.

Comments? Wouldn't mind a bit of constructive whack.

If that is actually un-edited there cracking pictrures, it just goes to show, its not the camera that makes a picture.

It is; I used a "shade" white balance to make the colours warmer, and also slightly under-exposed to give a wider range of colours/shades in the deep end.

(I think that makes sense.)
