Office gadgets
We've had new printers installed at work you can send items to them as normal but instead of just printing you normally have to select it in the mailbox so that not every item is printed thus saving paper etc.
Well now instead of anybody just printing items that you've previously sent, again. You can select them to print via finger print confirmation only.
Now whenever I go to the printer and place my finger on the little scanner bit it checks to see if I have any new items in the print mailbox ready to print.
It's so cool lol
Anyone else got any cool gadgets in or around the office?

We have Multi Functional Printers that you have a touch screen with number pad that you have an individual ID and password, so only you can print what you have sent to the network.

We had that at Morrisons, was called 'Safecom'.
Basically send something to printer, walk upto printer which was in a POD with like 5 printers, fax machine etc and scan your ID card on a machine.
It said you have X amount of documents to print and which one do you wanna print etc? Quite good.

never had one personally, but was thinking of gettin a USB rocket launcher and a USB panic button
The panic button you used incase a boss headed your way and you stood on it and it automaticlly hid everything bar a spread sheet or 2 you had pre saved

Yeh our office has a printer too.
Its not even plugged into my PC but when i print stuff it still comes out of it, its totally crazy, i think the PC whispers to it cus i hear a funny buzzing noise sometimes...

oooh we have a printer too, with GPS!! it tells Konica when its broke O.o and then they ring us, to tell us our printer is broke and when they can come in to fix it! i was pretty impressed
