My Wicked Red Cammed VTR
Well I'd got a bit bored with the Saxo, I fancied a bit more speed and a bit more refinement, the car had been stripped out for about 6 months and with the exhaust system and the height of the car it just made it an awful daily driver, so instead of spending thousands getting it how I wanted, I checked out the For Sale section and came across this little beauty, I didnt like a few things about the car, but with a bit of time and a few £££ I reckon it will be spot on.

Swap the boot for standard quick lol. Dosent look 60mm on the front to me lol. And although i personally hate VTS rims, i think highly polished ones would look mint Dont like the GTI ones on it at all, im afraid.
Very nice car imo, just those few things that spoil it.

Cheers for all the comments people,
Yeah there's a few things about the car that are definitely Marmite, but I like that, it means I have work to do to get it how I want it, I think I will put the "S" wheels on it off my other one, but I don't want to spoil the appearance of that either really, but yeah, the wheels will be the first things to change.
And yeah the front doesn't look -60mm to me either! its looks higher that that, but this is what I was told, Now its on the billies (day after photos taken) It sits just a tiny bit higher, which is what i want.
Now that I have de-wipered the rear it does look better i must say but i reckon something's got too be done with the rear end, but at the moment i like the fact that its nice and original.
Probably selling the Posi Blue Vtr once I have a new sunroof seal for it if anyone is interested?

Personally, although i have a feeling you'll disagree, id have to back sat at about 80mm, and have the front about 70mm (coilovers, i know) and have the super duper shiny S rims. I remember seeing a Posi blue one done like that, looked awesome (and i dont like S rims). I think yours would pull it off brilliantly.

The mirrors and exhaust really do scream O dear...
at least the mirrors wont be on long by the sounds of it
going for a non gay suspension height this time gets a thumbs up

I know, I'm not keen on the exhausts either, I detest the mirrors with every ounce of hate inside me and I feel embarrassed to be in the car with them on at the moment, Hence why ive ordered standard ones, shall I totally colour code them or just leave them with the little red bit at the top???
Not sure what to do with the exhausts yet, might have to wait a bit until I've got a few other things sorted as one thing i do like is now that it is de-wipered it is totally symmetrical at the back.
And as for the ride height, I definitely want this car set up for handling, but I still like the ride height of the Posi one for looks, and granted that slammed isn't always the way to go, but its nice being different.

leave the mirrors with the black plastic outers, if you like it then they work, if you then want to spray them you can.
I personally dont like CC etc.. I prefer black breaking up one big blob of colour.

Nice looking car. Put your S wheels on see how it looks.
Not a fan of the boot though, just doesnt look right where the number plate lights are.

Looks like a standard boot lid must be ordered then! Unless I can recess the lights under where the standard lights go, what are your thoughts on that?

I'd still say go for standard. Even smoothed boots look a b***o*k on Saxo's imo. Shame you arent slamming it, as i reckon it'd look porn, but i can see where your coming from
