Laptop advice
Alright folks,
Right i want a laptop cause my desktop PC is just taking up too much room, can anyone advise me on a decent laptop, something small, light, but durable, has the space, and speed.
As i'll want to use it in my car, for work, etc...
Thanks alot.

by far the best option you cant beat! go to comet / currys / pc world and buy a reconned laptop. they aint used which is what i thought, they are just boxed and never sold, i bought one from pc world. get about £200 off a similar spec one as "NEW" as in new model, have a look through em all some absolute bargains from £260-350 which would get u bot all as a new off the shelf range, and theres the newer dual core processors in there aswell

£250 - £300 for a laptop? Thats not a realistic budget mate.

These laptops are very good, extreamely hard to be beaten on price.

Re-con laptops are either ex-display or have been bought back as not wanted, They are not laptops which have not been used! Don't know who told you that.

Well i work in PC World and can tell you it isnt true. Most wont have a mark on them as they have only been opened and returned without being used. Even ex-display ones can have ZERO marks on. But Re-con laptops are not laptops which we have boxed and not sold.

Thanks Daryl.
I can go like 500 if needs must, but obviously for 500 or even more i want something uber good.
Definetly want something small and durable.
Also need decent space, and it has to be fast, can't be doing with something slow.

There are some good priced laptops with good spec on nova tech, have a good look around before you purchase to get a good idea of what sort of price gets you what spec.

This one is a good buy of nova tech, Dual core, 2gb ram, 120gb hd! You can also have it without an operating system so you can load up XP if you have it at home or use linux etc.

Yea they work fine, not very fast but for you're budget you aint gonna get much more brand new...
eBay will be hiding some bargains to be had.
