Sony Ericsson Phones.
What the hell is up with these?
I just had another die on me... Basically i had a k800i for about a year then it just died. Wouldnt turn on or charge.
Now my k850i just died after what, 3-4 months woot!
Exactly the same problem.
You press the power button and the keypad + shutter lights up and it does one little vibrate and wont turn on.
Same thing seems to be happening to alot of sony ericssons. I love the phones, but am tempted to move away from them for now ...

Mine hasn't been to reliable. Good phone but the 1 and 6 buttons rarely work and the shoot button for the camera hasn't worked for ages. Could just use the warranty to fix it but iphone isn't long to come.

Must be unlucky really, or by any chance are you on Vodafone?
Personally had, k700, k750, w810, p990, w850, not a single problem with any of them on the firmware side, other than the sticks on the first 2 getting.. whats the technical term.. utterly shagged?
Each lasting me the year til I've upgraded.

Yea, thats why I mention Vodafone, they whack their own shiz on, I've always had on O2, so have been unlocked.
I guess nowadays though there will always be problems with phones, the amount of stuff they are expected to do, just annoyingnwhen the one you've got always seems to go wrong.

all Vodafones phones after the 1st april are also unlocked
as for sony they have been known for software problems for a while now, the k850i and the w880i are the worst for it
not heard of any problems with the c902 yet though but im sure there will be

Gotta give orange 2 thumbs up to be honest. The replacement phone came today at 10am by courier and i had only rung them up about it yesterday at 5pm. Very good customer service to be honest.
