Default saxo brake servo leak

Hi, my saxos brakes are absolutely crap as the brakes hardly work unless i press the brake pedal with all force, if i pump it a few times it goes stiff but can feel is go back down, i have checckd all the brake lines and calipers and there are no leaks there, i asked my mate and he said its the servo as they are very weak, any idea how i can fix this, can i seal it or do i have to get a new one? thanks

the serveo is the black cylinder that is on the passenger side of the engine bay right? because i can hear a hiss from there, dont think its the master cylinder, hmm

If it gets better after a few pumps that's the master cylinder, thus is the silver bit with the fluid reservoir that is attached to the servo.

Normaly when a servo fails you have really hard brakes that take alot of force to do anything

i have changed the servo, the brake pedal goes down quite abit n still takes force to stop, if the brakes are pumped it goes stiff but the brakes become worse as the pedal wont travel as far down, could it be air in the system? or could it be another dud servo? or even the master cylinder?

You were advised correctly by Alfie09, replace the Master Cylinder

As I said above it's not your servo it's the master cylinder!!

Change that for a new one, bleed the brakes and you will be fine
