After some additional fettling earlier this week, the car is now 100% for the MOT.

My harnesses are even on the harness bars now and I have my helmet hammock in! bwaaap!

The VTS airbox is on an original battery tray mount thing thanks to D4MJT, the gearbox is no longer pissing all of the oil ot of it, and the car is INSANE to drive on the road.

I know I still have Haribo front springs so I'll be looking to change them at some point but I'll do a few runs out on the new shocks first.

The bump rate is fixed on the dampers and you can only adjust the rebound, the bump appears to be set to granite!

At speed you can feel the new shocks though, it's super planted, I bet the back end is a bit more interesting now!

Knockhill booked for the 12th of the month, it's MOT'd and taxed, it's also horrific to drive on the road, win!

Well another day at Knockhill yesterday!

Set off at 5am, 2 tshirts, a jumper, a hoody, a fleece, a hat, my hood over the hat, tracky bottoms, jeans and a snide Burberry blanket kept me toasty on my journey!

D4MJT spooned up in his derv barge with my track wheels, some tools, a sexy young boy, and a wicker hamper of delicious treats.

I let they young meat sort the wheels out and then we had much track shenannigans, it was VERY busy, 6 groups of 15-20 cars.

The VTS is a changed car, I don't know if it's the front dampers or the cage, or a mixture of both, but there is NO roll, at all, nothing!

Now it sort of pivots rather than turning, it's very strange. the first session the track was damp and it got a bit back end happy, but once it dried up it was just silly.

It's stopped the car spinning up the inside wheel on corners too, god knows how!

Also it's allowed us to use 3rd round most of the corners now, I think the hairpin is the only use of 2nd per lap now.

It's awesome!

muz.. your gay....

the dampers will cure the roll the cage just stiffens the shell so the dampers can work properly.

but with a tool like you behind the wheel then who knows...

Track prep for Cadwell this week, nothing too major as I don't want to break the car, I may take the Turinis and 888s for a rebalance and get a full allignment done.

+ more stickers
