I am a sexy fucker.
Car did handle tremendously well, and for your first proper track day you improved vastly throughout the day! I 100% need to get mine sorted for summer

Picked up some heko wind deflectors today for £10 so pretty happy there, no pics, you all know what they look like.
Also ordered a new boot badge and rocker cover badge, and stainless bolts for the jp4 covers, should look a little smarter, also ordered some sand paper because I keep forgetting it when I'm in B&Q, will be respraying both sets of alloys and my strut brace over the next few weeks.
All little bits, but it's the little bits that make a difference

No progress on this except I have ordered some Toyo R888s and will be ordering a satchshift, car comes off the road tomorrow for some work and MOT before french car show where it sees track time.
But I am also picking up a Black Gold Clio 182 tomorrow as my daily workhorse, lowered in coilovers with miltek exhaust and decat, should be a nice little car, if the 106 isn't where I want it to be fore french car show this will see the show and possibly track time... Lol daily...
Will update with pics, may use this thread to follow the progress off the 182 as well? Depends if people are interested, nothing major just cosmetic and maintain it well.

Might just use this thread for both the cars.
Picked this up Monday.
Loving it tbh, it's like a grown up faster 106.
The 106 is now a pure track slag, work will start on it soon, it won't be at French car show, gonna get some work done on it and it'll be out next for a track day in July.
Clio won't be having much done to it.
It's on coilovers which I'm yet to find out which, if they are cheap shit ones they'll be changed.
It has a miltek exhaust and decat
Wind deflectors
Pressed plates
Polybushed dogbone mounts
I'm gonna get rear bumper resprayed, get some spacers, wet sand and polish up the headlights, and buy some carbon trims and just maintain it, if I do too much the 106 wouldn't get used.

These arrived today for the 106.
Full set of Toyo R888s for my pro race 1.2s
And these also arrived
Should smarten it up a little, it's not going to be at French car show, it needs a little welding done, tyres fitted, a new driveshaft and a new radiator, so gonna do this over the next month or so and then I'll book a track day at a llandow for July and then fingers crossed one for August and September as well.
Not much else will be happening with the 106 now, not until atleast winter, it'll be getting used and abused around a track.

Just booked another track for llandow for 11th July, can't wait, over the next month or so, I'll be replacing driveshaft, radiator, fixing rust and putting through an MOT.
Also probably spacers, and considering a satchshift...

So I did order a satchshift and was delivered on Wednesday, looks awesome.
Can't wait to fit it and get a bit of time driving it again.

106 GTi - Cammed JP4s fitted - Trackday booked
These arrived earlier on today.
4x20mm spacers
80mm stud nut conversion kit.
Also will be at French car show on Saturday on the UK French Owners stand.
Will be in the Clio, fitted a newer badge from the newer shape Renault sports and also alloys are in for refurb at the moment.
The car on the left is simplejoee's new 182. Very clean car.

Seems not many are interested in my thread
This weekend works will be starting on the GTi, It will be having the satchshift fitted, Along with spacers and stud nut conversion.
I have ordered a new radiator just an oem replacement because mine has seen better days, ordered some ATE Superblue brake fluid as well, As on my last trackway my brakes were a little spongey, So thought I may as well run fresh fluid through along when bleeding, Possibly going to order braided lines as well.
Following weekend I will be fitting a new driveshaft and my old man will be welding up a small hole under the ECU, We will cut out the rust and weld a plate in, Its not huge and wouldn't fail the MOT but its best to catch it before it gets much worse.
MOT is booked for 1st July, Im confident it will pass.
