Afraid not mate! The car has been SORN since September last year! I haven't even seen it since then!

Cheers!
Funny you should bump this up - I taxed the car this week so I'm going for my first drive in the car for 5 months woop woop.
Ok... updates.
I've bought a replacement engine - the oil leak despite being small was annoying the hell out of me. Thought it was the coming from the sump I resealed it twice - but still no luck. Nothing appears to be coming from the HG or the cam ladders So anyway... 46k engine here I come.
The alternator munching got on my nerves. I suspect it's related in part to the engine loom as I recall giving it a wiggle once and the battery light went mad - so there's a new engine loom to go in.
Going to get some braided brake lines and lob some uprated driveshafts on the car but that's for another time.
Oh and finally have a buyer for the morettes so I'm going back to standard on the front. yee haa

Cheers chaps...
Right... Had a week back at sayertowers, so decided to tackle the car...
Got me some of these:
TRS Driveshafts
Three, yes THREE bloody abs sensors!!!
Morettes gone! So standard headlights are back. Headlight trims for underneath were being sprayed.
Front offside arch removed, that went off for a respray. Last year whilst driving down to Devon, I hit a puddle which somehow ripped the arch clean off, thankfully it was held on by the indicator, but dragged along the floor scratching it to high hell. So finally got round to fixing that.
Powerflex ARB bushes... The last of the bushes to be uprated. yay
Braided brake lines - what a nightmare! Two (both on the nearside) went on absolutely fine. The offside ones were a total bastard, the rears were really hard work and nearly rounded a union The front however just wouldn't budge and ended up bending the bracket, so I got annoyed and gave up. Otherwise... it's nearly done!

Cheers gang.
Only things I can suggest with the brake lines is:
1) 11mm brake spanner - don't attempt the job with an open spanner you're just heading for doom otherwise.
2) pray some idiot french factory worker didn't do the unions up as tight as a driveshaft nut
3) Drop the subframe down as far as you can - I just lowered mine until a few threads were connecting the bolts to the securing nuts
4) Get the droplinks out of the way for the fronts, so buy replacement droplink nuts (they're nylock)
moxy... I've put the standard exhaust on! It's out of MOT so I'll get it tested easter time hopefully.

cheers lads. I think I've gone as far as can reasonably without now spending a fortune on mods. It's been off the road for the last 7 months so I'm desperate to just get the damn thing on the roads (and in time for Bolton Abbey)

They hold the brake fluid without leaking so they pass the adsayer grade of approval...
Right my old muckers...
Sheared a bleed nipple last week on a front caliper ARGH so set to work removing it, by drilling into the pot...
...except I went too far and fucked it ARGH
So shat ma pants, ran off and bought myself a replacement set... no pre-2001 266mm's available ARGH so I bought the some post-2001 266's which meant buying a new set of disks and pads ARGHmybankaccountARGH. Went to fit them and realised I needed to grind the carriers a bit ARGH. Grinded them and BOOOMMMMMMMMMMM they're on.
Old droplink boots were shagged.
new ones on.
So that was that... now, for the last 11 months or so, my car had 4, yes FUCKING FOUR warning lights up, was like a shitty discotechque.
EML - for the decat, I hadn't tighten the lambda sleeve properly d'oh.
Battery light - suspected I'd eaten my fifth alternator, but was charging okay! weird! sooo, I gave the terminals a wiggle...
Brake light - thought the handbrake switch was fuggered, so replaced that back in summer last year, still on! So replaced the reservoir this week (as it has a float switch)...
ABS light - in a nutshell the ABS was fucked. Three sensors were trashed at the final count... so they were replaced...
The result as of tonight....
No warning lightsS!!!! so it's ready to be MOT'd

selling?! no no no christopher. Yeah dude seemed to be just the sensors. I thought the ABS module had entered fuckdom since three sensors were rogered - so much so I had a garage lined up to carry out a diagnostics. Then I just thought 'fuck it' and plugged it all up
