Removing sunroof
Is it easy to remove the sun roof trim on the roof? I'm going to wrap my roof with black vinyl so want to remove the trim to make it easier to wrap then ill put it back down.

yeah its fairly easy but make sure you have a mate to help get things out and off.
First you open the sunroof.
Then remove the interior pillars, sunroof console and handles visors etc.
Then go to the sunroof and unbolt the 6 small screws attaching the lining to the sunroof.
Take the lining out (mates are helpful with this) and set it aside someplace safe.
Once you've done that you can close the sunroof and unbolt all the screws attaching it to the roof.
Than get a mate to help lift it out (it needs to be angled to get it out so dont be rough and pull straight up or you will damage stuff).
This is a great time to check if the drainage channels are rusting through and if so make sure you fix them to avoid problems later on.
There should be tutorials on here but this gives you the jist, just make sure you unbolt the lining from the sunroof or its a right pain in the arse to glue everything back together and you risk damaging stuff (I did this)

Oh and two black rubber strips running down the roof come out really easily, I usually open the boot and prise them off, they aren't glued its a push fit
And the ariel will come off easily too , its literally one bolt holding it on so its not rocket science figuring out how to remove it haha

Ok awesome cheers I'm gonna take everything off the roof, put the vinyl down then put everything back on. It'll look better than cutting around everything
