I used to be able to play Sweet Child O Mine, wish I'd never stop playing about tbh, wish I'd never joined a band, made me lose all motivation for guitar

Gonna bring one of my acoustics back to uni with me next time I go home, and I'm getting a Ukelele soon to mess around on, can't wait.

RE Tabs and reading music, I'm a tab man, can read music (just!) but just prefer tabs.

I want to learn how to play
I've always been handy on the piano and I feel I have it in me to learn.

Anyone on here got the ability to play like that?

What's the best way to learn, one of my mates aunties offers lessons.
Seems an expensive hobby, Guitat + Lesson + AMP etc.
I'll teach you Aly

Second to me then I'm partial to a bit of Dragonforce like, but I'm the kind of guy who'll make a playlist with a bit of Dragonforce, then throw some DnB in there, some Grime, maybe a bit of Aqua (what the f-aqua?!), and maybe a bit of Edvard Grieg or some classical!

I teach myself, i reckon i'd find lessons boring as daft as it sounds. More fun to figure it out yourself, then you have a better feeling once you've accomplished a song.
