Waxes..
Hello all..
What would you say is the best value for money wax out there.. and what would you recommend to use on a flame red car?
I'm not wanting to go anything 'high end' and will be my first wax.
Anyone got anything for sale?

Fk1000p can't really go wrong with it tbh. (Yes I know it's not a true wax)
And it'll last you forever massive tin

This is the best affordable wax I have used (£40-45) but value for money, there are some others. Check out cleanyourcar and look at some of the reviews, there are some good ones for under £25.
I have used Chemical guys Petes 53 at £25 before but 50/50 is better.

I have used this wax twice. Still quite easy to work, and I have found it to be very durable. Gives some real nice beading too!

Chemical Guys 50/50. You pay for what you get as with most things. First wax or not. It'll do you proud.

Only a shitty one from the phone, but a quick pic of the roof after 3 layers:
That beading...

As I said, it was a shitty pic from my phone.
In addition to this, I don't give a fuck what you think tbh. When I need an experts opinion, I won't come to you

As with most products (I said most, not all) the more you pay the better you will get.
476S is alright if you are on a budget but 50/50 is much better. It's not just about the 'beading effect', its also about durability and ease of use.
476S might be half the price but if you have to put 3x the amount on for example to get the same protection then its hardly value for money....just an example.
£45 on wax which lasts 18 months is perfectly reasonable as far as I am concerned. With the 50/50, I only need to wax it once every 3 months. In my experience the cheaper waxes are A) More difficult to get off and B) Don't last as long.
Someone at work told me today they use turtlewax spray on white wax.....I just shook my head.

for once agree with moxy the beading isn't the best. But beading only shows so much of the available protection. Sheeting IMO is much more important. Witt the beading you're looking for tight uniform beads, they are quite large and staggered, but remember it isn't everything. For the price you can't really beat it though, colly or fk1000p if you want a cheap wax, for the price of 50/50 I'd recommend supernatural hybrid. But the problem, when you get to mid range waxes is you'll never see any difference unless your prep work is better. Which is why unless you have £300-£500 of kit then just buy colly of fk.

Fk1000p for me! Although my favourite stage by a mile is a glaze. Prima amigo is my choice. The FK goes ontop very nicely and the protection lasts and lasts.

My fave combo for beading has to be black hole followed by purple haze melted 50/50 with supernatural. The rain drops literally cant wait to sheet off the car.
I just like messing with the waxes I have left and melting them in a bath of boiling water.

Cheers buddy, just annoys me half the kids saying detailed my car yet spent 2 hours with AG stuff, yes I enjoy giving advice but some people clearly have no idea what detsiling actually involves and what is decent and what's not, and sheeting is amazing I got a video of some sheeting I done
