Bet it feels like a different car after the de-coking, pretty impressive the gains or losses, however you want to look at it

Didn't you say earlier that on a 30-130mph run that it wasn't far off other modded rs4s? That would be explained by the map, is what Muz is getting at, I think.

Broke the fucking windscreen yesterday like a bender. My own fault. Repair Tuesday as (speaking of benders) national windscreens can't come to repair it until Tuesday.
In other news I had a full service and another CV boot changed on Friday. Car pulls so much better now - must be dem new spark plugs!
Also got my brand-new disks and pads fitted - stops as well as it goes.
Whilst at the dealer, I saw this and fell in love.
However this kinda put a halt on my urges:

I think with being a mod you have a duty to tell what happened so that we don't make the same mistake

I was prising the a pillar trim away from the screen using a 6" prybar. Put a bit too much pressure on the prybar (whichwas prising against the glass) and the glass just shattered. I knew better but was being very gentle so was trying to be careful.
I just fucked up
To put a positive spin on it, the car had 100,000+ miles of stone chips on the windscreen and was typically scratched etc just over time. So getting a new screen is a blessing in disguise. Albeit a £75 lesson
