Icelandic VTR - big update!! - Saxperience

hi all, have been a member on this forum for a while now, it was this forum that made me want a vtr

i have been a member on here for couple of weeks now and i think its about time i made a thread.

i wont be doing much modding yet, as i dont have a job and im in college.

i have my test on tuesday so if all is well i will be rolling around soon

anyway my plans are:
Lower 50mm front - doing tomorrow
Cat-back exhaust - when money allows
Strut Brace - Christmas time
Refurb Alloys - Christmas time
Get rid of all the scratches - when i can find a touch up pen?
New door badges - Ordering tomorrow
i <3 speedbumps sticker - Ordering tomorrow
induction kit - when money allows
smoke fogs and side indicators - when i cba to get paint

Already done:
Lowered on the back 60mm? (not sure previous owner done it)
Fit Clarion CZ200E head unit
iPod holder
Bee Sting Aeriel

theres not much more i want to do, its not bad for a first car.

now the most popular colour saxo ever

looks really nice, dewiper the rear, it literally takes minutes to do and gives a good smooth look !!

my dad keeps telling me it would be a mistake, and i would use it a lot? i said about rainX and he said its shit and dont work :/

might still do it though.

i didnt see any ice grey vtrs around where i live then when i got mine they appeared all over place but i cant find any touch up kits for it :/

Your 17? Good luck getting insurance on it, you'd be extremely lucky getting a quote for under 3K..

if i get i pass and get insured ill b driving it this week, i think everyone will know im buzzing!

im shitting myself for my test but then i cant wait just to get on road

lowering the front tomorrow, any one got an idea how low the back is?

my gf has a that colour car rare as fuck on a 02 plate was a steal 62 on clock 587 pounds of ebay bloke well lost out. your car looks well smart

i only paid £700 for it with 4 new tyres brand new battery and years MOT

the car is currently on axle stands as lowering it didnt go to plan, the first side took 4 hours to do! the drop ink wouldnt budge and screws rounded and then a screw on the back of the brake disc? wouldnt budge :/

got that side done then put new pads on then the other side wont move so going to get the grinder in it tomorrow and hopefully get the other side done

heres a couple of pics of the car as it is at the moment they are pretty shit pics and i also got a pic of my head unit and iPod holder

Lovely car mate, i like the way ots sitting now, maybe lower the front slightly.

Other than that it looks good mate ! Love that colour aswell, lucky to have that car at that age aswell.

Let me know how much the insurance is mate, im 17 aswell haha.

i dont like the front at the moment, will look much better when lowered

and yeah i think icelandic grey is the nicest colour apart from wicked red
