Default Polybushes

Pretty new to these cars so could do with a little help on Polybushes. On my Fiesta, the bushes in the lower arms had to be pressed out, is it the same for a MK2 vtr? I will be replacing the lower arms anyway, so the replacements I will be putting the polybushes in will be brand new so hopefully wont be any issues getting the standard bushes out. Could anyone shed some light on if they're pressed or not? I will also be replacing the axle next month because the one on my car is tatered and want to polybush the mountings. Are these pressed in or can I do by hand? Bear in mind they will be new parts, not old and seized in. Any help is much appreciated!

Yes the original rubber ones would have been pressed in.

However, they can be removed by either burning them out, using a hole cutter or various other methods. They are a pain in the arse but quite do-able with limited tools/knowledge

I burnt them out, then a hacksaw to cut a slot in the metal ring.
