I've had one for about a year. Transforms the gearchange. Once you've felt one, you'll never settle for a regular quickshift They're awesome. Colins a legend.

so for the sacthshift you actaully have to cut into the firewall? or am i miles away here,w as interested in gettting one but was informed its a right ball ache to fit with the box/engine in

It's not a "right ballache" but it's 'a lot easier with the engine out for sure. You can fit it with the engine in though. And yes, you'll need to make a hole in the bulkhead for the shaft to go through, but it's no biggie really.

The saxo cup cage will still involve work. Why keep the rear seats when you cant use them anyway with a cage... lol
