DVD h/u owners
Just purchased a DVD h/u and there's a pink wire that has to be connected to the handbrake for the DVD player to work.
The only problem is you can't play DVDs while the handbrake is on.
I had this problem with a previous 1 a few years ago but got round it but can't remember what I did.
Can anyone help with this one.
Thanks

I have one mate fit it for me, he put that wire to another point on the back of the HU and it lets you watch them while you drive, but you should be watching the road not films I know that ain't much help but it melp help you remember what you did lol
I've never actually watched anything on mine haha

Is it safe to earth it to the back of the h/u or does it need to be to another earth point.
May sound a daft question but just don't want to damage the h/u
Thanks

The first correct answer tbh
I have a DVD hu in mine and I just wires the cable to an earth point on the internal fuse box, but any earth will be fine
