dirt around the citroen badge, help! pics post #1
just wondering what people use to remove the dirt around the rear citroen and saxo badge.. is it best to just remove it or what? i can never seem to get to it no matter how hard i try haha! any help would be appreciated as to how to do it and what to use

ive wondered this. uless you can pressure wash them, i guess the best way would be to remove the badges and clean behind them then re-attach them. this way includes a bit of ball ache though

never tried this but I would think a touch of apc and a small brush to agitate it would clean it

someone said to me a bit of tcp and a cotton wool bud will solve the problem.. do you think it could react with the paint though!?!?

I've seen professional car detailers use a cotton wool bud to clean the badges. Not sure what cleaner they use.

Some APC and a proper detail brush should get into it. Ideally thought cause it's built up and discoloured you'd want to remove the badge, clean and polish it properly then replace the badge.

i found it was easier and quicker to remove them, wash them in a bucket and wipe the grime off, it takes a while to build up again so u only need to do it once a year or so

a detailing brush is a good option. I find if you get a cocktail stick and a thin microfibe cloth, its quite good and can get into the nooks and cranny's if you dont want to take the badge off. Use a quick detailer to help you wipe the dirt out
