I haven't insured my iPhone for the simple reason that I don't find the money justifies the likelihood of me damaging or breaking it. You could pay over £200 throughout the contract on insurance without it being required.

I pay £40 every 4 months with carphone warehouse on my iPhone. Covers absolutely everything, even the calls someone makes if the phone is stolen.

iphone insurance
I have just got an iPhone 4 and o2 wanted 15 quid to insure it whereas any other phone is only 6 quid!
I have an advantage gold account with Natwest which costs me 12 a month. This has loads of benefits such as green flag breakdown cover and phone insurance and much more. Winner.

i know mate that's what i was thinking. but at the same time something could happen in the first month and you're out a lot more money! few people i know have cracked the screen. easy happens if you drop it. worth insuring it for peace of mind i reckon

I think I would take the Halifax option if I got an iphone.
All it needs is to click the upgrade button on the account lol. Completely forgot about it and never thought I would ever need any of the extras.
Seems a good deal now

I know I'll break mine so I insured it for £10 a month with O2's affiliated insurers.

had a look and o2 insurance is £15pm, unless you mean someone else? or is it £10 because you've had it a while?
