I get that with it going to the top as you as scrolling, very annoying but its just due the pictures loading.
Also i always search posts by me so i can see if people have replied to what i have posted and sometimes the search hasnt updated for like 90 minutes.
Apart from that its excellent no speed or database error issues what so ever

I voted for 'I frequently have errors/issues and it's starting to do my head in!!'
I don't get error but sometimes it takes ages to load. When this happens it usually is about 45 seconds to come up and even longer before I can access quick reply. This isn't the issue all the time but usually happens for a period of time at least once a day, usually in the evening. I know this is probably my connection or something but when I am waiting I go on other sites and forums and they load instantly while this one takes ages.

I have network timeouts every time i visit the site so thats a daily basis. The only resolution (which probably doesn't do the server any good) is to spam click the link I'm trying to get to about 15 times in quick succession which seems to get me through EVERY time.
If it happens whilst I'm posting and i click firefox's resend option the post does eventually go through.
As you can imagine, it gets extremely annoying!

simo,
sorry i have not read through the thread so not really sure if has been said...
90% of the time the site is faultless however sometimes i do experience problems when im browsing sax-p...
i don't think it is a problem my end of the interwebz as i have experienced it at home, work and at the girlfriends...
It is nothin major it will sometimes just kind of log me off for no reason... it is not very often though in all honesty...
I did just experience something which i have not before though...
saxperience went to a white screen as i clicked back onto the tab and stated that the link was broken?
it could be a problem on my side...
i have selected option 2....

Error codes I'm not 100% on as they're not always displayed. I know for a fact a good deal of them end up with a firefox connection interrupted screen and the rest just specify a network timeout.
I can always tell when it's an issue as when i click on a link, connection status is "waiting for www.saxperience.com" which then results in the timeouts.

The trace hasn't arrived at saxperience, which would lead me to suggest its a problem with Virgin, or your browser/DNS config.
Virgin Media DNS servers go chips quite regularly, meaning many sites cannot be accessed for 30 seconds or so. I have this problem from time to time too. When im not able to get on sax-p due to a virgin dns error, im also not able to get onto microsoft.com Unfortunately if your problem is this, this IS a virgin media DNS issue, as many website owners complain about it... but its not something 'we' can fix.
TBH though, it looks more like youve changed your dns or proxy settings to me... the IP youre trace has selected for Saxpeirence is not correct. The trace doesnt complete and its directing to openDNS.
I suspect youve changed something you would be best setting back to standard???
My trace...

I'd be really surprised if your connectivity problem was NOT due to an intermittant issue with the open dns re-direct...
Quote:
OpenDNS works by using Anycast to redirect you to the best DNS servers based on where you are. But before it quickly gives you your response, it can optionally filter out unwanted content. OpenDNS partners with communities and service providers to maintain a database of adult content and malicious websites. If you choose to opt in, each DNS query that matches a known bad site returns your browser to a customizable page that explains why the page is not allowed

Yes, OPENDNS servers as the standard Virgin ones were pap. I've not opted for any filtering by OPENDNS what so ever so not sure how that would affect me.
I'll try reverting back to the Virgin DNS servers and see if it changes anything.
I've got 194.168.8.100 & 194.168.4.100 as primary/secondary, are those the ones you use?
*Edit* I'd been a lemon and forgot to remove http://, new tracert as follows:
