steering wheel shaking like fuck at 50 mph +
I know saxos arent exactly as smooth as eurofighter typhoon at speed, but this is getting ridiculous... Whats the problem you reckon ? mk2 vts.

^^ this, check how the tread is on the tryes, wear on one side etc.

just got front left replaced cos had a nail in it, couldnt afford front right but tread is pretty worn... gonna be that innit

It's best to have both wheels done at the same time, but this won't cause the shaking, as said, check tracking

i would say wheel balancing! to be honest! and def if you have just replaced a tyre maybe they havent balanced it correctly

tracking was done about 4 months ago in last service... guess ill have to get it looked at again. More money spent on the damn thing.

wheel balancing is off IMO...same as mine but mine is only at about 80 when its noticable.....

so that is unbalanced misaligned wheels with different threads. It should be shaking like f

have you taken the wheel off then put it on again,making sure there's no crap on the hub etc.eliminate the simple stuff 1st

take it its just the steeringwheel and not the whole car?
my clio did it over the whole car at 50mph then stoped at like 60 lol
it was the spacer washers at the top of the front struts were nakerd :L

mine used to do this. couldn't balance them, never got rid of it. tracked and everything
turned out i'd used a fucked compressor and it let water into the tyre!

check your cv joints and the wheel bearings too, my golfs cv's started to go and it did the same thing.
