got the gist after page one and havent read the rest so may be repeating stuff here.
You can upgrade the ram after market for alot cheaper if you search the web, its really easy to install, keyboard clicks out, 3 screws job, pop old out and new in job done. A blonde girl i was in halls with managed to do it so sure you can.
The better the processor you buy now the happier you will be.
Why put windows on it, its sucks, but needs must with work etc i guess.
Black is £100 more when you up spec the white one to the same standards... bit of a waste of money.
Macs are good, work well and do what they say on the tin very well...

Iv got a White Macbook id recomend saving a little bit more and getting a Macbook Pro... if your still talking about this, sorry i just read the first page.
You can get a few diffrent programs to run windows programs and XP or Vista OS inside OSX but tbh thats only games and and if you play alot of games then dont get a macbook.

i got one about 2 months ago and had a load of problems with it. it just kept crashing and turning its self off. sent it back to apple and within 2 minutes of getting it back it had crashed. its now back again at apple, they said i would have it back in 3 days its been over a week and ive not heard anything. im sure its a one off but just letting you know my experience.

Jacko check out that thread about desktop PCs theres one of my computer and stuff with the cream walls.
Leckie, white walls sounds smart but in real life it aint all that. Makes the room look really cold.
