Newwwbie in all this
Well, 5 months after getting my car I've realised that McDonalds and not biking the 3 miles a day to and from school has taken its toll, I have a belly
Ideally, want to get my stomach toned and have some arm muscle, but I'm so unfit as car died the other day, and the bike ride that normally took me 10mins, took me 20. What should I do to get myself fit and with some form of muscles?
Cheers Peoples

Im practically in the same boat as you, altho I think I may have had my belly a lil longer. I've just started to eat better, eat more times a day, smaller portions, more fruit, no crisps etc. started back cycling few weeks back, been doing about 25miles on a sunday, looking to increase this each week untill Im fit enough to get back up the mountain. also been adding more exercise in the week:
monday - 30minute run
tuesday - press ups, pull ups, sit ups
wednesday 1.5mile run
thursday - press ups, pull ups, sit ups
friday - 30minute run
saturday - press ups, pull ups, sit ups
sunday - cycling 25miles+
unlike you though Im not looking to add too much muscle, just get relatively fit and lose the belly. hope this helps but Im sure there's people here who are a lot more clued up than I am and may be able to give you better advice
Good Luck

yeah the weather is starting to get a bit better now. i know i'll be biking to the gym again soon!
also cut the mac d's and start eating healthier. that and the above will flatten your belly
for muscle get some dumbells or a gym membership and start lifting some weights!

yeah looks good mate so long as you keep pushing yourself with the cardio, maybe try to increase the time/distance each week, you'll get results
maybe throw in some incline and decline pressups using the sofa plus lying down leg raises for abs
