Default Engine code location?..

Hi guys, just had my vts engine dropped of today as I'm starting a turbo engine project. Not bothering with a car yet just going to develop the engine using things I can lay my hands on and my dads engine dyno. Everyone always posts graphs of of rolling roads so will be interesting to see what a turbo motor does at the crank.

Anyway just wanted a quick pointer of where to find the engine code as I'm unsure whether I've brought a c2 vts motor or saxo/106 motor???

Either way I believe the engine mounts and gearbox will all bolt straight onto either motor won't they? If I end up putting it in a car it would be a saxo not a c2.

Thanks in advance for any help. Will start a buil/progress thread in a week or so for anyone interested

Be interested in seeing it being built without a car. You stripping down the engine fully?

First dyno session will just be....

Std engine
intake compromising of 42mm jennet bodies and a custom plenum.
Garret gt28 turbo, may even just run it n/a to start of with to get a decent base map as I'll be using a life racing f88 ecu.

I have a similar plan, replacement engine going in and the engine that comes out I'll rebuild over time maybe even turbo it
