Because of JP4 and 708's, had to have my pistons notched - During picture...
All pocketed...
Little update, I bought a brand new JP4 coilpack cover and had it dipped. Looks incredible, very very impressed, just need to buy a badge from Peugeot and its another thing ready to be bolted on later in the build.
New 23mm torsion bars turned up...
and thats about it for the minute!

Aaron I wouldn't have made a good enough job on the top coat! Managed the rest okay though.
Cheers lads.
Some new genuine Peugeot piston rings turned up today, genuine big end bearings on order and should be here end of next week. Then it shouldn't be long till the engines back in once piece.

New set of Gaz coilovers and rear shocks turned up today, minus helper springs . I'll have to get on the phone and sort that.

Helper springs arrived...
and some new strut top bearings...
With this little box of powdercoated goodies, and a freshly powdercoated ARB, big things can happen!
Also, got my Mocal catch tank powdercoated the same as my slam panel and strut brace...

Definitely not for sale... ha.
Been busy, coilovers and suspension all fit, steering all back together, temporary fit old tie rods until I get my new ones off Tommy.
Chiddles came down today and gave me a much appreciated hand with a few bits, including getting it rolling and having its first bath for nearly 2 and a half years, hasn't scrubbed up half bad, been worried for a long time that the dust on it may have contained metal from all the body work prep but it seems all good!
Shot of bay up to press...
and a picture I got on my phone of my struts in place...

Been playing some more...
My Hi specs were minging, I've taken them completely apart, made sure all the pistons were free and cleaned/polished everything.
Metal polishing take forever, not really interested in a mirror finish, but want to make any alloy bits look clean...
Then polished and waxed the calipers...
One caliper all bolted back together versus the other one in the state they were, looking much more fresh...
Also got the servo/master cylinder/brake bar all built back up...
Headbolts and new correct pistons rings turned up too
Thats all for tonight!

Yeah indeed quality work, bay looks so clean. Although I did read on here that moving your car around with suspension and wheels on but no driveshafts inside the wheel bearings can screw them up pretty badly? Think it was bedford that brought it up
