Fitting a Satchshift

just going to bump this up, can you fit these with the heater still in the car or do you have to remove it?

yes can be fitted with heater still in place

Mines fitted with the heater still in, it doesn't even go close to the heater matrix

I was going to suggest to rorz that he PM you actually, as your install is a good example - you've bent the upper internal linkage i seem to remember so you don't even have to touch the dash Might be worth some pics Josh if you happen to have any (and feel obliged!)

Mine fits without hitting dash without an modification to the Satchshift. I also fitted it with the engine still in the bay, took two of us, about 3 hours to remove the old stuff and fit this. Had to use a right angle drill to drill the two mounting holes as not eunf room to drill them with the engine still in.

But not too bad, but helps it a very well manufactured kit, so helps a lot.

cheers for the replys guys ive got my eye on one of these to buy but with winter coming up didnt really want to loose the use of the heater
