Coming up to 118k
PAS cylinder, under the steering rack has popped a seal so I've been losing fluid will be replacing it very shortly.
Otherwise going well, still very economical. This was a 70 mph run...
estimate 50 mpg.

Wow i wish mine was even close to that it works out at something ridiculous like 30mpg its just to low. High mileage bad idle etc doesn't help its on its last legs tbh.

Cheers lads. I know it's not an update as such, just to post to say the car is still running and running well I love it still. I can just be pootling along and it makes me smile.
Need to get an RR done of it. Hoping for 110+ at the wheels..
The backbox, well the entire mani-back system, is a BTB without dummy cat.
Wrapped Raceland 4-2-1 mani
ITG Maxogen induction kit
And that's it really.

Thing is im not driving in an ouvertly economical fashion it still has the xsi box with its ridiculously short 5th. Driving wise I'd say I'm normal and don't drive like a spacker, I bang it up to 70 mph and just stick there. I still give the ocassional blast from those bastard M1 50 mph roadworks back to 70. Or coming off the a249 roundabouts. Fuck knows what I'd get if I tried to be economical with it. It's cheap to run so I'm not too fussed at the moment. Tax is a bastard though.
Should mention as well it had the injectors ultra sonic'd a while back, its not running shit rubber and tweeqd off here tracked it for me recently which all will aid it with the running costs.

Right...
Been on the upgrade path recently,
ATSpeed/TTV flywheel - from wicked-vtr (cheers matey!)
Quaife diff in 1.4 xsi box - from aly (cheers matey!)
Other bits include alloy crank and alternator pulleys, replaced wishbones and clutch.
Start up is stupidly quick, it revs stupidly quick and it feels loads more keener in general. That diff is mad though. Took it on a 350 mile 'test drive' last night, about 340 miles in I thought I'd just push it a bit on the roundabout, bloody hell it just grips! Transforms the car.
