Default Facebook image codes

Is there no way it can be implemented into the forum so images with Facebook generated image code can be posted? As it is, anything with a Facebook generated image code won't display, even if it's hosted on a different site.

Surely it wouldn't be too hard to make it so they display? Would save a lot of hassle posting an image that was originally uploaded to FB, or is being linked from FB.

Would that be possible though, because people with private accounts, have private accounts so others cant see pics?

i.e If my friend didnt want pictures on here, but i copied the image code off his FB, and put it on here, would that work?

Yup, i've got a private account and can link to other forums, as long as you use the actual image code (the one that ends in .jpg), rather than the page URL, it'll display.

yeah i suppose, as a lot of people link the url of the image, which just shows up 'You dont have access to this page' or whatever.

It's not an issue with the forum that causes some fb images not to be shown.

I think FB might block some direct links and as said above, if the photo has been uploaded to somewhere like photobucket with the original facebook file name then it won't link it.

If you're looking at a Facebook photo with the black slideshow (Kind of background) you can press F5 to refresh and then simply right click and copy image URL.

Exactly this, great work around refreshing removes the slideshow crap so you can copy the image code as usual.

I can post them on other forums, i've got a few photos in my PB account that i've taken straight from FB, they'll show fine on other forums, it's just here that they show as a broken image.

Example, mate took this pic of my car, put in on FB, I then uploaded it to PB from FB.

Using this link, it shows on every other forum...

On here, it just does that.

I can link straight from FB too on other forums using the image code, yet on here it won't do it either. It's as if this forum doesn't like the long filenames.
