HDMI SPlitter
hi guys, just a quick questiano. I have a HD TV with 2 HDMI sockets, HDMI 1 and HDMI 2. My Xbox 360 is plugged into HDMI 1 and my PC is plugged into HDMI 2. I am getting a PS3 aswel now, if i used a HDMI splitter in one of the HDMI sockets and plugged my PC and PS3 into the splitter, would they both still work aslong as i only have one of them switched on and not both at the same time? I'm guessing they will as thats what these are for but i like to confirm before buying one. I've looked on ebay and contacted a couple of the members but they can take days to reply, so thought i'd ask you geniuses too Thanks

I have my xbox, ps3 and a freesat box running on one 4 way splitter into one HDMI connection on my TV so I would say it would be fine.

Hello mate.
I have one of these;
http://www.ebuyer.com/230497-xenta-b...t-1080p-lu606m
£12.24. I don't need it anymore but it works perfectly. You can have both input devices turned on. The signal that is put through is decided by which channel you select on the device, however it also auto senses (that is, if your PC was on and displaying on the TV, and you switched your PS3 on (both being connected through this splitter) it would automatically switch to the PS3 as the newly powered up device. Really simple to use bud. Would recommend it.

I had one of these for years:
might upgrade to an hdmi version, it is quite a handy accessory.

Yeah I know. I first bought it so I could have consoles, dvd player etc all wired up and redirected on the primary scart so I would get full RGB and no loss of signal + full digital sound through the optical.
I'm tempted to upgrade to that full digital thing and I could also use that network splitter capability. then when it's fully plugged, the advantage is that you don't need to reach for the TV and receiver remotes to change the inputs, it does the switching for you.
