I stopped doing track days I don't see the value+fun ratio anymore. I'm more into the run what you brung days. £30 for all day of runs seems more value and the banter is loads better.
Ill try get some Nurburg ring footage up when I get back on sat.

I've seen their prices :0
Regarding rwyb that's where I really got into cars. I had an impreza I used to run but got board as the quicker you are the less time you spend driving. The cues used to bore me. I did one track day an have never rwyb since.
I like the circuit driving thing.

It does seem like more value but surely 1/4 miles are dull as fuck!? I have never seen the appeal of actually running. I go to watch at York every so often but I would always choose a track day!

Suppose it depends what you like. The banter at track days is none existent because every one thinks they are the best driver in the world. Where as if you go to york and you fuck up a run every one takes the piss and you learn have a laugh and move on.
I'm not bothered on the price side of things but I would much rather pay for a full day of laughter and learning things than have a track session where you cant drive to your limits or you get black flagged for driving unsafe.

Yeah I know what you mean about the arrogance of a track day! There is definitely more joking around at a 1/4 day but that's mainly because you have a lot less time in the cars. lol

road rallying is where its at boys. now that is value for money.
£50 - £95 to burn rubber around 130 miles of classic welsh lanes through the night. a true test of man and machine! none of this boring roundy roundy racing
