My replacement for the Evo... Pics added
Long story short, the evo was a pleasure but a fortune to run, absolutley great fun but usually found in a fuelling station.... It also wasnt very good for me n Claire to be sharing as we couldnt put our own stamp on the car, it always had to be run by the other person first.
Met the owner of this car off the ferry from belfast and done a swap for his car and cash our way.
MK2 Focus st3
61k FSH
long mot n tax
Fully standard engine wise bar a KnN panel filter
Glossy black alloys
Pioneer double din dvd player
Full immaculate Recaro leather interior
So far since last week I have tint filmed the foglights, mirror indicators and reverse lights.
Added wind deflectors
Booked in for de-cat
Bought an RS spoiler

Looks nice enough, they are thirsty though.
Averaged 23 mpg town driving on my old one when it was stock and 21 @ 300b. Highest motorway was 34 IIRC driving like an absolute fanny.
I'd have the grilles, fog inserts ect professionally sprayed black and the surrounds a darker grey.

Yeah fair enough, I really don't know why Ford used such light coloured plastics. Join Focusstoc not a bad place
Decat FTW bwaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrp POP!
How are you finding it, bar feeling shit slow in comparison to the EVO, DS would sort this

I tried to join it mate but every time i typed in the passcode thing it came up saying it was wrong, i was spelling it exactly how it was written though??
Will the decat defo make it bang when you change up a gear????
Dreamscience was fitted to this ages ago, Id rather get the car a proper map than have something with pre-tuned maps.
Im going for 3 turbo back, airtec cooler, rs injectors, dont know what kind of filter to get? and a map, was told it should see 300 easy

JamSport are the people to speak to about tuning these, they do various drive in/out packages and they will do it the same day, Jamie is known to be working late to get it finished i.e. midnight etc.. Might not start it till lunchtime mind! lol, but he'll get it done.

Id be going to SiTech or HQ Performance mate, both within 30 mile of me and both very trustworthy, HQ is where the evo was mapped

Hmm unsure what's up with it, maybe the board is experiencing technical difficulties. Try refreshing the page, or re-generating a pass phrase to enter if it allows you.
As for pops and bangs, not all the time but most of the time, more so when you change to a full system.
Dreamscience is awesome, custom maps are obviously better as they're car specific but the generic maps DS use are awesome tunes based on say stages of tune.
As for filter, the new CAIS are good but they are top dollar, Id go for a K+N Typhoon like one, and use a RS ECU Cover that's what people are using to relocate the ecu's.
With those mods, even on just a DS map like MODA/B DSCI you will see around 300. Maybe more!

Mate!
You sold the EVO because it was constantly in the petrol station getting fillups. So you bought an ST??
My mate has one and gets low 20's mpg driving like a saint and single figures on the rampage. Guess it's what ya get for buying a volvo
On a serious note, congrats mate - I've always liked the Focus ST's, especially in non-ASBO colours! Looks very tidy!

Been told they run 21mpg at 300bhp
The evo driving it normally was getting 15mpg at a push

Most struggle with 25 mpg standard lol
But it's very nice and least you both have a car of your own this way

As Blackie said mate, they guzzle! Dread to think what a 300bhp one would do with some enthusiastic driving.
The point is though, as long as you enjoy it that's what matters

Looking well Drewage!
I would repaint the alloys silver or that mettalic grey personally.
Not a massive fan of black alloys

Been thinking about anthracite alloys, all depends on funds n shit tbh. Its been ok on fuel the now, at least 28mpg driving around town and had it to 38 on the motorway at 60mph
