Help my HD TV has stopped working!
I kinda knew it was on the way out but now I think it's officially dead.
I've only had it two years but the passed 2 months the backlight has started going dim and it seemed to lose a lot of its response especially noticeable when playing Guitar Hero and shooting games.
I try turning it on and nothing happens. Could it just be a fuse.
The TV is a 32" Wharfdale but everything is badged up as an LG cause thats what it is.
It's been a good TV for me now. Kinda died at the wrong time for me was hoping to buy one after new year when the prices have gone down and I can get myself a bargain.
Any help appreciated.

Well I've just opened it....was kinda hoping it was one of the two fuses. Checked the fuse for the AC bit. That fuse was fine. And the Fuse coming off the transformer was fine.
So if the fuses are fine god knows what the problem is. Think we're gonna get one of them 42" Samsung HD TV's. I got a 22" Samsung Pebble for my PC and its really good

there wont be a power pack on a 32" only a internal power supply, most likly to be the psu but could be the main pcb, check any caps in the power supply to see if they have expanded at the top, could just be that.
wharfedale arnt LG though mate, made by a company in Turkey called Vestel. along with most Bush,Goodmans etc. most argos crap tbh!

inverters up the voltage for the screen to light up, sometimes they have them on the same pcb as the psu. but that will be in the tv. power packs or ac/dc adapters are normaly on smaller lcds as they havent got room to put them inside the tv. (like on the xbox 360)
