can remove the bulb, rewire it with a resistor so it tricks the car into thinking the airbag is still connected..

either fit the pretensioners to the bucket seats somehow or cut the plug off the cable coming in threw under the carpet and put a 2ohm resistor across the wires so it fools the system to thinking the pretensions are still there. or as said put a bit of tape over the light.

I've got one of those Haines Extreme Saxo manual thingys and it says to take the dials off and stick a bit of insulating tape over the strip with all the symbals where the airbag symbal is. Should stop it shining through.

Tried searching but not come up with anything too helpful.

Putting tape over the light isn't the best solution as the light needs to be showing when the ignition is on for the MOT (it fails if it doesn't show or if it stays on continuosly)

pretty sure that's right????

your MOT won't fail due to the airbag light being on

whats the best solution then, dont wanna have to piss about with taking the tape off again with tape, or dont airbag light mean anything for MOT.

Remove the dash clocks/speedo, remove the bulb then re-fit. Slimples!

The airbag light won't fail an MOT or cause an advisory or anything whatsoever.

The only light that concerns an MOT is the ABS Light.
