Default I know similar stuff has been asked before...

....but now its my turn i guess

I was looking into an engine conversion as some may have gathered but now ive decided its just not worth it, cos i wanna save up and buy something big, powerful and turbod when i finish uni. So i ordered a few cheapish parts for the saxo, and i was wondering what power i could expect with em on....

I have a supersprint "race only" centre section and a vtr inlet manifold and throttle body on their way to me, and already have a bmc cda induction kit in it.

So what sort of power should i expect from my furio now? A bit more than the 75 mark i hope

If you get the throttle body ported & polished i cant say BHP figures but you'll get a decent gain.

I have a BMC, ported tb & full system and i get good throttle response and with the tb i got a great increase in torque over the range.

I can't see you getting over 85bhp without a manifold.

Join a rolling road day to find out for sure

As Kam said..I dont think you'll see more than 85bhp either.

Its ok getting all this extra air in..If its not getting out then whats the point..

Getting a cat back exhaust and/or decat is fine and will give a slight gain but not much without a 4 branch..

The manifold is the first part of the exhaust that the exhaust gases go into so if thats restricted still, so is the rest of the exhaust to a certain degree..

ah cool, this is all a learning experience for me ye see

i just got the decat centre section cos it was quite cheap, and the bmc was second hand so also cheap. i didnt intend on splashing out on a supersprint manifold, but i might just get that and leave it at that then, maybe work on the suspension a little.
