FAO all those who have had an ecu remap

following on from my previous sticky thread i thought this would be a good start.

could all of you who have had an ecu map please post in this thread.

1.where you had the remap done
2.what ecu you had mapped. (eg emerald, omex, OE single plug, OE 3plug)
3.the engine in the car. 8v/16v
4.the cost of the mapping approx
5.contact details.

This is to help gather together information to create a databank for the forum members to use in the future rather than creating the same thread over and over. If there are any companies you feel have been bad at this please pm me with information rather than writing here.

so please guys help where you can your input is essential. can we also keep this thread info only please guys, other posts will be removed.

OE single plug.
Powergain is relativley small around 6-8bhp however, acceleration is smoother and wants to pull more.

autolink garage in jesmond (just off sandyford road opposite the cemetery)

well equipped garage and ppl that know what theyre doing, does all kinds of garage work and repairs, performance part fitting and tuning, plus ecu remapping

he also stocks/fits/maps omex ecu's and works on some pretty high spec cars. Mapped my turbo up very well and had never even used the software (tuner studio for the predator if anyones thinking of buying one)

price was mint @ £200 for the map, when i go back to up the boost after ive sorted a few issues out he said he'd charge next to nothing for that remap

i went back, upped from 10psi @163bhp to 15ish psi @218bhp, cost me £80 for that map
