Engine Management back on after a few hours
Had the car in the garage today for a dio test because engine management light was on. Car had a new coil pack and the engine management light was turned off. The light stayed off for a few hours and then came back on again. Anyone know why the car is doing this?
Thanks

could be anything really, best to go back and get it checked - tell them to sort it out (if they fitted it for you)

You need to know what the DTC is... Otherwise there's no way anyone can help you on this.

They re-tested it for free and they are saying the Lambda sensor which controls the cars fuel intake has broke and said the part will cost around £70 does this sound about right?

Lambda sensors' actually measure the air and fuel levels in the exhaust for emmisions reasons although many people remove or relocate theirs
Re-testing should have been done free def as it was their fault for still not fixing it lol
I paid £50 all in and got a quick service done whilst i was there but the price varies. Around £60 Tbf but £70 isnt too bad, have words bud
