Fitting 6x9"s
I have cut out the holes.....put the shelf back in. but i cant get into the rear standard speakers to disconnect and use that to connect the new speakers. Any ideas how to get to the rear speaker without damaging and of the surrounding plastic?

when you say rear one's i'm guessing you mean the ones behind the quarter pannel. if so you need to remove the whole pannel to get to these.

you can remove the rear quater panel enough to get to the speaker wires without removing the rear seats , then just connect your new wires up . If you want to remove the standard speakers you will have to completely remove the rear panels

Read the guide mate, its all in there. There are no screws holding the panel on just clips. Take the rear seat out and remove the rubber from the window where it covers the plastic. (same with door seals) then from the bottom, prise the trim out and it'll pop off.
The speaker itself is held on by two screws and the wires are just push fit connectors on the back.
Use a bit of terminal block to extend the wires to the boot.

there`s is quite a few scots now mate. more and more appearing all the time.
best place to get your car lowered is fife auto centre. there`s hardly anyone in fife touch the saxo cause off the torsion bar. just buy the springs from somewhere like demon tweeks then go to the auto centre to get them fitted and adjust your torsion bar to match. as for prices , ma car was lowered when i got it. but the back off the car was lower than the front. looked like a speed boat. so i took it to the autocentre and they raised it for 135quid. its not cheap but there the only folk that would do it. hope this helps bud. cheers
