ermm relationship help please?
ok right, i realise i dont actually know anyone on here lol but i would like some help and opinions or experiance please
i am dating someone at the moment (17 and im 18) and she has a daughter with another guy, she is 1 and the guy is not part of it, i am really struggling with this and she says its no different but it is she is a big part of the relationship and im not sure what to do, at times its fine as we go off together, but then when we are all together i struggle again, is this right? or am i just messed in the head, even sily things like if (BIG IF) it did last, i want kids of my own! but i realise it wont last as i wish to be single for start of uni, and she knows this but it still comes into my head  i dunno what to do ?????

if your not comfortable with your girl having a kid. Id leave but on good terms. Let her know how you feel, but tell her you wanna be friends. No point getting to involved if your gonna dash off in a while anyway.

is this a casual thing or do you actually have "feelings" for her. because from what i can see in your post it dont seem serious.. She has a kid at 17.. tbh thats a hard thing for someone of that age to cope with especialy if the dad aint helping out. If you are serious about her show her you care and enjoy the time you have together. and about kids... your a few years away from that seeing your looking at uni!!!

IMO you need to digg deeper for a bigger set of balls (die hard lol) you must of known the situation before you got involved with this girl?
From what you have said you not really intending on having a long relationship?
With a littlen to look after your gf needs as much help as poss with the kid?
may not be very sympathetic but then again just my opinion

ok sounds odd but i do really like her or i would not still be around, i have walked away from phsyical activity (sex and all) due to all my worries! and if things went well i would stick with her! but im honest with her i sed the uni part to try stop myself getting attached especially when i have doubts!!

only about 2 months and its been bugging me for ages, well i live in southampton along wit her and im hoping to go to central lancashire uni (up by the lake district!!) not to do with uni just i know long distance is a pain!

also, if you have moved in that soon, you musta known her before you started seeing each other...which in that case, you would have known her situation!!
tbh mate, respect her and the kid...if you dont like the situation...leave on good terms, or if its bearable and you like her, then the kid shouldnt annoy you mate!!

To me it looks like your a bit in deniel. You do really like the girl but you dont want to admit it to yourself because you wanna go party at uni. Thats fair enough. But you got to think about what your going to miss out on and what your going to gain. Look at the pros and cons and see what works better. You might find when you go to uni you dont wanna to party and wanna be with your girlfriend or you might find you dont want to be with your girlfriend. Bit of a hard situation but definatley slow down Look at it from the outside and have a long think about what your letting yourself in for. It may not be your kid but if you stick with that girl your going to have a lot of responsibility.

if she's a genuine girl, and the dad has nothing to do with it then the kid must have been a mistake. if u enjoy her company and have feelings for her then you should just get to grips about the kid.
