not the best buffer to be learning with mate!
id suggest useing speed 2 only untill your fully confident with it,
and its very easy to burn through with a roatry, not as hard with a udm etc so im told

True rotarys are easier to burn paint with
UDMs are orbital which are safer and usually give better results

You can achieve better results with a rotary but random orbitals are easier to use and safer

as long as you keep it moving you cant really burn the paint, its best to get the paint thickness checked but machines cost a lot
i think you should get some old body panels from the scrappy and practice on them

Not as easy as every1 makes out i dont think. They can leave a brilliant finnish but if you dont know how to use 1 then there is a big possability of leaving lots of buffer trails. Also if polishing plastic panels like the VT kit you have to take ALOt of care as this will heat up alot quicker.

cheers guys....
well i spoke to my mate who works at a bodyshop he said there pretty easy to do but just do big panels such as the bonnet boot roof etc..leave the vt kit and do it by hand. also said spray water to cool the panels down plus it gives it more of a gloss wet look finish. just dont leave it on same point to long and keep it moving.
before i start i think hes gonna show me first.

Just keep plenty of polish/wax or whatever you're using on the pad. Dont do the bonnet all at once stuff like that etc.
